Who says Miley Cyrus is a bad influence? I mean, aside from everybody in the universe plus her own dad? On Friday, Miley was celebrated by a group called the Global Action Youth Leadership. They even gave her an inspiration award. And, it was presented to her by Hilary Duff, so you know it’s legit. When she accepted the award, Cyrus had a message of inspiration for children around the world. It was basically this: Ignore your parents. Cyrus said, “I want kids to do something they love. Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that that’s the right thing to do, or what their parents want, or what’s important to people around them, but what’s on their heart.”
To be fair, Miley was being honored for some actual, good charity work she does, like helping to feed hungry children.

A source tells Radar that Sheen wants both Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller to move into Mullholland Estates, his gated community, and is willing to buy them homes there. And a source close to Brooke says she just may do it. The insider claims Brooke, who lives in Los Feliz with the couple’s twin boys, is “planning on taking Charlie up on his very generous offer. Brooke thinks its a great idea because Charlie can see their twin sons on a daily basis. Britney Spears netted half a million dollars from product placements in her new music video, according to a US report.
A celebrity news blog claims companies paid the pop princess a combined total of $500,000 to feature their items in the Hold It Against Me vid.
The four and a half minute video, which premiered last week, shows Britney appearing on a Sony television screen and putting on an eyeshadow made by cosmetic firm Make Up For Ever.
It also shows the singer sitting in front of a computer, browsing the Plenty Of Fish dating website, and spraying herself with a bottle of perfume.
A close-up of the bottle reveals that it is her own Radiance fragrance, which was released last year.
PlentyOfFish.com reportedly shelled out $200,000 for the lucrative promo spot and it is not the first time it has appeared in a music video.
The dating website also shows up in the video for Telephone – Lady Gaga’s hit single featuring Beyonce Knowles.
Gaga’s music vid was also littered with other products including Wonder Bread, Miracle Whip, Diet Coke cans, a Polaroid camera and a Virgin mobile phone.
LINDSAY LANDS AN ACTING GIG
Lindsay Lohan may finally be headed back to work. A producer named Nathan Folks tells Radaronline that he’s hired Lindsay to star in his film Escaping the Game, a drama which will shoot in the United States and Spain. Folks said the movie is about celebrities who can’t take the fame and fake their own deaths and create a life for themselves on a remote island. Lindsay will play an investigator looking into their disappearances.

According to authorities, a 17-year old student gave birth at the school last Friday, and was taken to the hospital after she began bleeding excessively. The baby was found in a plastic bag. The name of the student was not released.
