CBS TO HALT PRODUCTION ON TWO AND A HALF MEN FOR THE SEASON!
CharlieSheen just didn’t know how to shut his mouth yesterday. During two interviews, one on radio, one with TMZ, Sheen ranted against Chuck Lorre, the creator of his hit series Two and a Half Men, and it didn’t go unnoticed. During the radio interview, Sheen called Lorre a “clown” and joked that his real name is “Chaim Levine.” (His name is actually Charles Michael Levine). ”I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that this un-evolved mind cannot process,” says Sheen. “I’ve spent, I think, close to the last decade, I don’t know, effortlessly and magically converted your tin cans into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.” And if that wasn’t enough, in an interview with TMZ, Charlie called Lorre, “a stupid, stupid little man and a p—-y punk that I never want to be like,” adding “That’s me being polite.” Well, not long after both interviews, CBS and Warner Bros TV announced that they have halted production on the comedy for the remainder of the season. Before the interview, Charlie had been due to go back to work next week.
Charlie Sheen won’t get paid for the episodes that he had yet to shoot. The actor was making a reported $1.2 million per episode, making him the highest-paid TV actor, thanks to a new contract he signed in May. The shutdown also means that the rest of the cast and crew are unlikely to receive their paychecks as well.

In addition to Lorre, Charlie blasted Alcoholics Anonymous during his radio interview, saying he’s better beating his addictions on his own. “Newsflash, I’m special,” said Charlie. “The only thing I’m addicted to right now is winning,” insisting that he is clean and sober. He added about his ability to get clean, “My success rate is 100%.” As for AA, Charlie ranted, “I was shackled and oppressed by the cult of AA for 22 years. I finally extracted myself from their troll hole and started living my life the way I want to live it. It’s vintage, outdated and stupid and it’s followed by STUPID people.” He then added: “I hate them violently. They will come at me.” He also said, “Debate me on AA right now. I have a disease? Bulls**t. I cured it right now with my mind.” At times during the interview, Charlie seemed to just ramble on, saying things like, “There’s a new sheriff, and he has an army of assassins,” and “my motto now is either you love or you hate and you must do so violently. I don’t live in the middle anymore. That’s where you get embarrassed. If you love with violence and you hate with violence there is nothing that can be questioned.” He also called Thomas Jefferson a “p***y.”
SURVEILLANCE TAPE WON‘T HELP LINDSAY
Things sure aren’t looking good for Lindsay Lohan. A law enforcement source close to her grand theft case tells Radaronline that surveillance footage from the incident clearly shows Lindsay’s male friend distracting the jewelry store’s owner while Lindsay swipes the necklace. The surveillance video is expected to be used if Lindsay’s case goes to trial. Said the source, “This simply wasn’t a case of miscommunication of a necklace being loaned and not returned, as Lindsay has claimed.” In other Lindsay news…sources close to the actress say she’s worried she’ll start doing drugs again if she’s sent back to jail. “I’m not sure if she can survive this,” a source tells Popeater. “She is so terrified and frightened that we all fear her addictions will kick in again to help her numb the fear.”
DAVID ARQUETTE TALKS ABOUT HIS ADDICTION
David Arquette was on the Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday for his first post-rehab interview and he revealed that he had his first drink when he was just a kid. “I must have been four-years-old,” he tells Winfrey. “I was down in the basement with my dad and beer was there and I just grabbed it and drank it…It’s one of my earliest memories.” He adds, “I seriously started drinking probably when I was about 12.” And it wasn’t only booze. Arquette said, “I stole pot from my father when I was eight years old.” The Scream star explained that he decided to check himself into rehab this past January after his sister Patricia Arquette and estranged wife Courteney Cox staged an intervention. “I came back from Miami and I had taken a nap. I woke up and Patricia and Courteney were at my bed,” he recalls. “Courteney had a cup of coffee. I was like, ‘What are you two doing here together?’ I already knew.” As for whether he and Courteney will ever get back together, Arquette explained, “I want her to be happy. If me being the best person I can be doesn’t make her happy in a partner, in who she needs, whatever she’s looking for, that’s still to be answered.” He adds, “I’d love for it to work out.”
SHARON STONE TAKES OUT RESTRAINING ORDER
Sharon Stone yesterday obtained a restraining order against Bradly Gooden, an “obsessed mentally unstable delusional person,” who broke into Stone’s Los Angeles home. According to documents, Gooden claims to be the son of Hillary Clinton and says he wrote The King’s Speech when he was only 2. He reportedly broke into Stone’s home on February 11th, where he was discovered by police. He told officers that he believed his mother, Clinton, bought the house from Stone as a gift for him. Cops placed him on a three day psychiatric hold, but he was “undeterred from returning to the property.” The restraining order prohibits Gooden from going within 100 yards of Stone or her children.
CHELSEA‘S HUSBAND ON VERGE OF BREAKDOWN!
Chelsea Clinton and her hubby Marc Mezvinsky have been making it a point to be seen together in public to shoot down rumors that their marriage is on the rocks, but The National Enquirer is sticking by its story. In fact, the tab claims things are so bad, Marc is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. “There’s fear Marc is headed to a mental hospital,” a source tells the tab. “In public, Chelsea is taking Marc everywhere in an effort to show everybody that they’re happy together, but behind the scenes he’s depressed.” Sources claim Marc has been having a hard time dealing with the Clintons’ desire for him to cut ties with his father Ed, who served time in prison for fraud.
FOX ANNOUNCES X-FACTOR AUDITIONS
Fox yesterday announced the audition cities for Simon Cowell’s latest talent show The X Factor. Cowell’s search for the next superstar begins Sunday, March 27th at Los Angeles Sports Arena, and will also hit Miami, New Jersey, Seattle, Chicago and Dallas. Unlike Idol, where wannabes audition in front of judges only, X Factor singers will have to perform in front of an audience of thousands. FOX CONFIRMS ONLINE IDOL VOTING
As rumored Wednesday, Fox officially announced yesterday that they will start allowing online voting for American Idol. Beginning immediately after the first performance show on Tuesday, March 1st, fans can go to http://www.americanidol.com/ to cast their vote for their favorite singer. They will be required to log on using their Facebook account, and will then be directed to the American Idol voting page, which will feature the name and photo of each of the current contestants. Fans may cast up to 50 total online votes for a performance.

Former figure skater Tonya Harding is a mom. Harding, who became famous after her ex-husband and bodyguard hired a man to injure her competitor Nancy Kerrigan, gave birth to a baby boy Saturday in Washington State. So far there’s no word on the child’s name.

Teen Mom Amber Portwood isn’t ashamed of her body. The 20-year-old, who faces charges of domestic battery for beating up her baby daddy, recently posed for some naked photos at a friend’s home. “Amber fancies herself an old-fashioned pin-up girl,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com. “She posed the way she thought a pin-up would.” But Amber isn’t about to show the world everything. She strategically angled her body so she wouldn’t expose her private parts. Portwood is not happy that the photos have reached the internet. “I’m devastated that these pictures were stolen from my phone and sold by someone I trusted,” she told MTV in a statement. “It makes me sad that anyone would do this, and I’m horrified that something so private is being shared publicly.”
REGIS’S REGRETS
Regis Philbin may be having second thoughts about quitting his daytime talk show. A source tells Popeater that the host, “quit without thinking it through,” and “now he’s regretting it.” Seems Regis decided to leave Live with Regis and Kelly because he was upset about contract negotiations, but now that he realizes he’ll soon be out of a steady gig, he’s panicking. “He’s 79, and everyone knows TV is a young person’s game. What was he thinking?,” said a source. “I’m sure he looked at how the public has welcomed back Kathie Lee [Gifford, his old co-star] on Today and assumed they would do the same for him. But as of now, he hasn’t had any great offers.”
MTV ANNOUNCES NEW AWARDS SHOW
They’ve got their Movie Awards and the Video Music Awards, and now MTV is adding a third awards show to their repertoire. The network announced yesterday the creation of the O Music Awards (OMAs), which will honor digital music. But the network failed to explain what the “O” actually stands for, saying they wanted viewers to be able to interpret it on their own. According to the network, the OMAs will “honor the migration of music to the digital space, and celebrate the art, artistry and technology of digital music.” The OMAs will take place Thursday, April 28th.

● The Unusuals’ Adam Goldberg will star in the Robert DeNiro-produced drama Rookies. The CBS pilot revolves around the personal and professional lives of six new NYPD cops. Leelee Sobieski also stars in the project.
● Fox has renewed Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen for two more seasons, according to EW.com. Production on seasons 9 and 10 will begin shooting back-to-back starting in April.
● TBS has cancelled the fraternity comedy Glory Daze after only one season.
● IFC has ordered a second season of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, starring David Cross.

● Kim Kardashian is reportedly in the running for a role in a movie. According to Usmgazine.com, the 30-year-old reality star is up for a part in an upcoming film about John Gotti, which would star John Travolta as the late New York mafia don. Kim would play Kim Gotti, John Gotti’s daughter-in-law.
● Here’s even more proof that Hollywood doesn’t have any new ideas. Deadline.com reports that Warner Bros. is planning to remake the Kevin Costner/Whitney Houston flick The Bodyguard. In addition, Paramount has hired a writer to pen a remake of the 1991 comedy Soapdish. The original starred Sally Field, Whoopi Goldberg and Robert Downey, Jr. and followed the behind-the-scenes goings on of a popular soap opera.
● Former Prison Break star Peter Stormare will join Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton and Famke Janssen in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. He’ll play the evil town sheriff Berringer.
